Box Jellyfish Drifting in Singapore Shallows

Sunlight pierces the deep blue water in distinct shafts, illuminating a box jellyfish suspended in mid-water above a seagrass meadow. The creature's translucent cube-shaped bell floats weightlessly, its four sides catching the late afternoon glow. Below, long blades of green seagrass sway gently in the clear shallows, their tips brushing the sandy bottom. The water remains exceptionally transparent, allowing a full view of the marine life and the textured ocean floor. Slow-moving ripples on the surface distort the light beams into shifting patterns across the jellyfish's smooth, gelatinous surface. Fine particles of sand drift in the current near the seagrass stems, settling gently on the leaves.
