Crown Jellyfish Over Seagrass Noon Light
Pale translucent bell of a crown jellyfish drifts just above a dense carpet of green seagrass blades. Flat noon sun penetrates the exceptionally clear water, creating a vertical shaft of brightness that illuminates the jellyfish's trailing oral arms. The water surface shows slow-moving ripples, casting shifting patterns of light across the seafloor. Fine particles float in the current, suspended in the stillness. The jellyfish moves with a gentle undulation, its bell expanding and contracting rhythmically. Behind the creature, the seagrass meadow stretches out in varying shades of olive and emerald. The soft light after rain enhances the clarity, making the delicate textures of the jellyfish visible against the darker, textured grass below. A shadow of the bell falls softly on a cluster of seagrass tips.
