Nautilus Silhouette Against Amber Reef

Rich amber sunset light falls through the wet season water, illuminating a chambered nautilus drifting slowly past a vertical coral wall near Belize City. The shell appears as a dark, spiraled silhouette against the glowing blue expanse beyond the reef. Fine particles of plankton hang suspended in the exceptionally clear water, catching the golden rays. Gentle surface ripples distort the light above, casting shifting patterns across the textured coral face. The deep blue background fades into darkness, showing the contrast between the organic curve of the shell and the rigid, shadowed rock. A faint highlight traces the upper rim of the nautilus where the amber glow meets the dark silhouette.
