Nautilus Shell Cross Section in Kelp Forest

Rich amber light from a late autumn sunset falls through the deep water, illuminating the precise geometric spiral of a nautilus shell sliced in cross-section. The shell rests among towering kelp fronds that sway gently in the current, their dark green blades creating vertical lines against the glowing background. A soft haze of plankton diffuses the light, blurring the distant kelp forest into a wash of warm gold and muted brown. The shell's surface gleams with a pearlescent sheen, highlighting the intricate chamber walls and the smooth, calcified texture of the interior. Sunlight catches the edge of the spiral, casting a faint, elongated shadow across the sandy seabed below, anchoring the object in its submerged environment.
