Silhouetted Cenote Stalactites in Amber Sunset

Turquoise water glows beneath a canopy of limestone stalactites hanging from the cave ceiling. The setting sun casts a rich amber light that penetrates the clear water, illuminating the mineral formations from below. Fine surface ripples move slowly across the top, distorting the light into shifting patterns on the submerged rock. The stalactites appear as dark, jagged silhouettes against the bright, warm glow of the underwater illumination. Dust motes are not visible, but the water clarity reveals the texture of the stone in sharp detail. A small fish swims near the tip of a hanging formation, its silver scales catching a final ray of the day. The boundary between the dark cave interior and the glowing water creates a stark, natural contrast.
