Ropes hang loosely from rusted metal fixtures above, tangled with wooden crates stacked in disarray. Bird nests woven from twigs and dried grass rest on the sheltered corners of the broken roofline. Heavy overcast skies cast a uniform, shadowless glow across the early summer landscape, softening the edges of the decay. The ground is scattered with dust and debris, while the distant city lights begin to flicker on in the background, visible through the gaps in the structure. One frayed rope end rests against a moss-stained stone pillar.
