Rain streaks vertically across the dark, weathered brick of an abandoned warehouse near Bordj Bou Arreridj. The sky above holds a deep indigo hue, signaling the twilight hour just after sunset. Faded, tattered posters rest on the lower walls, their paper edges curling and peeling under the steady downpour. Weeds push through cracks in the concrete foundation, their green leaves glistening with water. A thin line of rim light cuts along the roofline, separating the heavy shadow of the building from the gray sky. The scene recedes into layers of distance, where the wet ground reflects the faint ambient glow. Raindrops blur the surface of the torn paper, creating a texture of decay that resists the encroaching night.
