Iridescent Cloud Shimmering Near Cumulus Tower

Early autumn sunlight breaks through a thick marine fog layer hugging the ground near New Orleans. A towering cumulus cloud rises sharply on the right, its edges sharp against the pale sky. Beside it, a smaller cloud formation displays a delicate iridescence, shimmering with soft bands of violet, green, and gold where the first rays of sunrise strike the moisture droplets. The ground below disappears into a sea of white fog, pooling in low depressions and obscuring any distant terrain. The air appears still, holding the light in a suspended, quiet moment. The iridescent cloud edge glows with a thin, pearlescent line where the sun first touches the vapor.
