Iridescent Cloud Beside Sun Over Tamil Nadu Storms

A brilliant white sun hangs in a pale blue sky, its disk partially obscured by a thin, iridescent cloud that shimmers with soft bands of violet and pale green. Below this celestial anomaly, a massive wall of stacked thunderheads rises from the horizon, their dark gray bases heavy with wet season moisture. The mountain peaks of Tamil Nadu peek through gaps in the lower clouds, their slopes softened by a distant haze that lingers near the ground. The dry mountain light cuts sharply through the upper atmosphere, illuminating the crisp edges of the cirrus-like iridescence while the storm clouds remain in deep shadow. A faint rainbow arc curves along the lower edge of the glowing cloud, marking the boundary between the bright sky and the brooding storm below.
