A towering cumulonimbus cloud rises sharply against a perfectly clear blue sky, its rough, billowing top against the smooth horizon. Below, a flat plain stretches toward a distant layer of stacked thunderheads in dark gray bands. City lights begin to glow along the shoreline, their warm yellow dots reflecting off the wet, dark water in the foreground. A diagonal line formed by the cloud base creates a sharp visual tension across the frame. The immediate sky remains unbroken above the darkening clouds. The texture of the cloud top is rough and billowing, set against the glassy surface of the water below.
