Iridescent Polar Cloud Over Swedish Thaw in across a storm-bright plain in Sweden

Iridescent Polar Cloud Over Swedish Thaw

by Eleanor Sandoval

Vivid mother-of-pearl swirls dominate the upper third of a perfectly clear sky above a storm-bright Swedish plain. Early spring thaw exposes patches of wet earth and dormant grass beneath the glare of noon. Dappled light falls through leafless branches in the foreground, casting sharp, fragmented shadows across the ground. One, small stone in the lower right corner glows with a soft internal luminescence, illuminating the immediate frost and pebbles around it without any external source. The cloud layers display sharp gradients of violet, green, and silver against the stark blue. The glowing stone rests on the cold soil, its light reflecting off a nearby puddle with geometric precision.
