Nacreous Clouds Over Vancouver Twilight Mist

Pearlescent nacreous clouds float low in the stratosphere above the misty coastline near Gastown, Vancouver. The sky glows with soft pinks and pale greens reflected off the dark, glassy surface of the water below. Thick mist swallows the lower horizon, blurring the line between sea and air. Diagonal bands of cloud stretch across the frame, showing upward tension against the heavy, damp atmosphere. Early spring thaw leaves the distant shoreline bare and muted in grey tones. The water mirrors the iridescent hues of the high clouds, doubling the light in a quiet, intimate display. A sharp edge of a cloud bank cuts diagonally across the upper right corner, defining the boundary between the glowing sky and the deepening twilight.
