Low morning light cuts through a broken stone archway, illuminating swirling dust motes that drift across a collapsed interior. Warped star charts cling to damp, peeling plaster walls, their ink bleeding into water-stained paper. The silhouette of a wooden bookshelf stands against the bright horizon haze, its structure softened by late autumn decay. Frost lines the edges of shattered windows, while the cold air settles on cracked floor tiles. The sky glows pale orange above the jagged mountain peaks visible through the roofless frame. One curl of dried parchment rests on a pile of rubble near the center.
