Frosty Observatory Catwalk at Dawn in Ghana

A heavy gray overcast blankets the rocky geology outcrop where a metal catwalk stretches into the distance. The walkway surface and railings are rimed with a thick layer of white frost, contrasting against the dark industrial steel. Beside the path, a large telescope dome stands shuttered, its curved surface dull under the low sun. The horizon glows with a soft, hazy light that struggles through the cloud cover, casting long, faint shadows across the dry, brown earth. Converging lines of the railing guide toward a vanishing point in the mist. The frost texture is sharp and crystalline along the edges of the metal bars. One shadow falls across the icy steps.
