Fish Swimming Above Crane Cabin Douala Construction Site
Bright monsoon daylight floods the industrial site beside Douala, where a heavy steel construction crane cabin perches atop a half-poured concrete slab. Exposed structural beams rise vertically, framing the operator's glass enclosure. Through the open cabin window, a school of vibrant tropical fish swims through the air at head height, their scales reflecting the low-hanging grey clouds. The water around the fish ripples visibly, distorting the view of the steel girders behind them. Sunlight catches the wet surface of the concrete, creating a glossy sheen that mirrors the aquatic movement above. The fish move in unison, their fins slicing through the air as if it were liquid, casting small, fluid shadows on the metal floor of the cabin. One silver fish hovers just inches from the glass, its eye staring directly outward.
