Flat noon light floods the concrete underpass along a Cordoba market street, where steam rises in white wisps from wet grates. A vibrant graffiti wall dominates the back, painted with bold reds and yellows under the harsh glare. Suspended in the air at head height, a school of tropical fish cuts through the dry mountain atmosphere. Their translucent scales shimmer against the grey concrete, fins trailing behind as if swimming through water. Foreground metal grates frame the view, casting sharp shadows on the damp pavement. The fish move in unison, their bright orange bodies against the muted urban tones, while steam curls around their paths, blurring the boundary between the soaked street and the impossible ocean air. One fish hovers near a cracked brick corner, its eye reflecting the overhead security bulb.
