Abandoned Mining Ruin with Ore Carts in Autumn Mist
Pale morning light spills across a field of grey tailings where rusted ore carts lie half-buried in the gravel. Ivy clings tightly to crumbling masonry on the left, its leaves turning a deep, burnt orange against the peeling grey stone. A thick layer of ground fog pools in the hollows between the carts, softening their metal edges into indistinct shapes. The early sun catches the wet frost on the rusted iron, creating sharp highlights that contrast with the shadowed recesses of the ruin. Dried autumn leaves scatter across the metal grates, settling in the low spots of the carts. The fog drifts slowly over the uneven ground, hiding the base of the stone wall where it meets the earth.
