Twilight Silhouette of Collapsed Mine Entrance Ruins in among roofless stone chambers near Skhirat

Twilight Silhouette of Collapsed Mine Entrance Ruins

by Jeffery Lindsay

Gray winter twilight deepens behind a jagged opening where a mine entrance has collapsed into a hillside. The structure stands as a dark silhouette framed by rough, weathered stone arches. Nearby roofless chambers reveal exposed rubble and broken masonry against the fading sky. Bare, leafless branches whip violently in the wind, their movement blurring slightly against the stone. The ground is scattered with loose gray rocks and dry winter grass. Cold light reflects off the uneven surfaces of the collapsed rock face, highlighting the texture of erosion. A final shadow stretches across the debris field, marking the edge of the opening.
