Abandoned Tin Mine Engine House on Misty Clifftop

Heavy mist rests on the jagged edge of a steep cliff where a solitary, rusted tin mine engine house stands isolated against a pale gray sky. The structure, constructed of weathered brick and darkened iron, features a symmetrical gabled roof and a central chimney stack that pierces the low-hanging clouds. Midsummer greenery creeps up the stone foundation, against the cold, oxidized metal surfaces. Soft, diffused light from just after sunrise washes over the scene, eliminating harsh shadows and revealing the rough texture of peeling paint and corroded rivets. The symmetrical framing places the building dead center, flanked by the endless drop of the cliff face on either side. One puddle of rainwater on the foreground path reflects the dull gray of the overcast ceiling.
