Hard coastal glare illuminates jagged sea cliffs where white surf bites into the dark rock. Low clouds break into clear patches, casting sharp shadows across the rugged terrain. Below, salt ponds and causeways stretch toward the horizon, their geometric lines against the organic chaos of the waves. The dead of winter strips the landscape of color, leaving only stark grays, deep blues, and frothy whites. Diagonal composition creates tension as the water crashes against the stone. A thin line of foam marks the edge where the ocean meets the cliff base.
