Sailboat Heeled Over in Rain Near Chelyabinsk

Low orange light from nearby sources glows against the cool grey of steady rain falling across a remote ferry crossing near Chelyabinsk. A sailboat leans sharply to one side, its hull cutting through choppy water as a strong gust pushes against the white canvas. The wet deck reflects the fading firelight, creating streaks of color on the dark wood. Raindrops ripple the surface of the lake, distorting the reflection of the sky. A wooden railing runs diagonally across the foreground, guiding toward the tilted vessel. Fine mist rests on the rigging, visible against the darkening sky. One drop of water slides down the edge of the sail, catching the last light.
