Welsh Coracle Ferry at Misty Dawn River Crossing

Mist hangs low over the water, softening the edges of a remote river crossing where a traditional Welsh coracle floats on the current. The round, leather-bound boat carries a fisherman dressed in heavy, dark layers suitable for the wet season. Leaves skitter across the wet stones at the water's edge, caught in sudden gusts that ripple the surface. Pale, diffused dawn light falls through the fog, casting a cool, gray-blue tone over the scene. Wooden poles from the riverbank stretch into the water, creating strong leading lines that guide the gaze toward the solitary vessel. The water reflects the muted sky, while the texture of the wet leather contrasts with the smooth, moving river. One leaf rests on the curved rim of the coracle, caught in the gentle motion of the tide.
