Crab Fisherman Over Seagrass in Goa Evening

Salt-crusted beard frames the back of a weathered face as a crab fisherman stands waist-deep in exceptionally clear water. The dry season sun casts a soft, reflected glow across the surface, illuminating slow-moving ripples that stretch toward a submerged meadow of green seagrass. Fine sand shifts beneath his feet, visible through the transparent column of water. The waterline cuts across his shoulders, separating the damp, textured skin of his neck from the shimmering aquatic landscape below. Tiny bubbles rest on the rough fabric of his clothing as he remains still, anchored by the quiet weight of the evening light. One strand of seaweed drifts against his lower back.
