Deep orange light floods the horizon, casting long shadows across a calm water surface in Madhya Pradesh. One dhow stands anchored, its lateen sail rising high in a stark black silhouette against the bright sky. Low-hanging monsoon clouds press down from above, their undersides glowing with residual warmth while the upper layers remain dark gray. The water reflects the intense color of the sky, creating a shimmering path that leads toward the boat. Heavy fabric of the sail hangs limp, suggesting a lack of wind. The composition places the vessel on the right vertical third, leaving open space to the left where the sky meets the distant, hazy tree line. A thin line of white foam marks the water's edge against the hull.
