Tugboat Pushing Barge Through Misty River at Sunrise
Thick white mist rests on the surface of the river, obscuring the distant banks while the first golden rays of sunrise cut through the haze. A heavy tugboat pushes a long, dark garbage barge around a sharp switchback bend. The steel hull of the tug reflects the warm light, against the dull gray of the waste-laden barge behind it. Concrete embankments rise steeply on the left, their rough textures softened by the fog. Converging lines of the river channel and the boat's wake draw toward a vanishing point lost in the gray fog. A small patch of green vegetation on the far bank remains visible through the thinning mist near the water's edge.
