Tsingy Needle Karst at Twilight in Madagascar

Steel-blue ambient light washes over the razor-sharp limestone needles of the Tsingy formation near Toamasina as the monsoon season deepens. The jagged peaks rise vertically from a dark, wet foreground where a shallow pool mirrors the jagged silhouettes perfectly. Distant city lights begin to glow with a soft amber hue, contrasting against the cooling blue sky. Moisture rests on the rough, weathered stone surfaces, creating a sheen that catches the fading natural light. The water in the foreground remains glass-smooth, doubling the verticality of the rock spires. One needle tip reflects the first electric streetlamp in a tiny, sharp point of orange light against the dark water.
