A massive, dark grey thunderhead dominates the horizon, its flat base hovering low over the white expanse of a Corsican salt flat. Bright midmorning light illuminates the foreground, revealing dry, golden-brown leaves skittering across the cracked, saline crust. The atmosphere grows hazy with soft moisture from recent rain, creating distinct layers of depth as the white salt recedes toward the ominous cloud wall. The contrast between the pale, textured ground and the heavy, brooding sky establishes a solemn presence. Fine details of the salt crystals catch the light near the bottom edge, while the cloud base blurs into the distance.
