Warm firelight glows against the wet steel of a temporary staircase rising through an unfinished building shell. Thick mist rests on the open sky above, softening the distant horizon while droplets coat the metal grating and handrails. The structure stands on muddy ground beneath the towering legs of a construction crane, its cables disappearing into the gray haze. Golden hour light falls through the wet air, turning the rust-colored beams and damp concrete into a tapestry of amber and deep shadow. Water pools in the uneven steps, reflecting the fading sun. One puddle near the base mirrors the vertical lines of the railing, anchoring the composition with a sharp, liquid edge.
