Crane Lifts Deck Section at Tamale Shipyard

Rust-streaked steel gantries frame the heavy lift as a massive crane hoists a prefabricated deck section into the humid air. The monsoon atmosphere hangs thick, a metallic haze blurring the edges of the yard where utility towers stand like silent sentinels. Below, the concrete floor reflects the fading natural light, while the distant glow of Tamale begins to pulse against the horizon in warm oranges and yellows. The machinery appears cold and severe, its hydraulic cables taut under the weight of the gray metal slab. Rain droplets rest on the rivets, catching the first electric sparks of the city lights rising in the background. One rust streak runs down the vertical beam of the crane.
