Telecom Mast Ladder Cage Amidst Bog Cotton Kenya

White fluffy tufts of bog cotton rise from the dark, wet ground to encircle the base of a steel telecommunication mast. A cylindrical metal ladder cage climbs vertically, its rivets and rungs gleaming under the harsh midday sun. The sky above is a pale, washed-out blue, heavy with steady rain that creates a fine, uniform mist across the frame. Droplets rest on the silver metal and soak the white plant fibers, turning them a darker shade of cream. The composition is strictly symmetrical, with the mast centered between the soft, chaotic texture of the vegetation. At the very bottom, the dark, saturated earth meets the first rung of the ladder, at the base of the industrial structure in the moist, mountainous terrain.
