Silhouetted Jungle Cat on Rusty Trinidad Coaster

Heavy monsoon clouds weigh low over the rusted steel spine of an abandoned roller coaster in Trinidad. Golden hour light breaks through the gray, casting a warm, hazy glow that turns the weathered track into a dark silhouette. Perched atop the highest loop, a jaguar crouches in absolute stillness. Its spotted coat merges with the shadowed metal, muscles coiled beneath wet fur. Rain slicks the rusted rails, reflecting the dimming sky. Below, dense tropical foliage sways in the damp wind, framing the decaying ride. The predator’s gaze locks forward, eyes reflecting the last streaks of orange before the sun dips below the horizon. one drop of water slides down the jagged edge of the track.
