Silhouetted Fishing Fleet in Sardinian Sea Fog

Thick sea fog swallows the harbor as the first light of dawn breaks through heavy, fast-moving cloud bands over Sardinia. Several fishing boats sit motionless, their hulls and masts reduced to dark, jagged silhouettes against the faint glow of the horizon. The water remains still and glassy, reflecting the deep shadow of the vessels. A sharp rim of pale light outlines the rigging and the tops of the sails, separating the dark forms from the misty background. Late spring air hangs heavy in the scene, visible only in the density of the fog that obscures the distant coastline. The boats are clustered tightly, their shapes merging into a single dark mass until the edge of the hull catches the dim morning brightness.
