Dark wood forms a sharp silhouette against the fading sky as a small fishing boat rests motionless in the harbor. Thick fog blankets the water, softening the distant shoreline and merging the wet season earth with the gray water. Dramatic, heavy clouds stack above the horizon where the sun dips, casting a final band of warm orange light that outlines the boat's curved hull and simple mast. Ripples disturb the glassy surface near the vessel, while the air remains still and thick with moisture. The boat's weathered planks appear almost black, standing in stark contrast to the pale, misty background that swallows the far bank.
