Sea Otter Wrapped in Kelp Above Kenyan Reef

Low morning sunlight cuts through a thick haze of plankton, illuminating a sea otter floating just above a cold-water reef edge in Kenya. The otter clings to a thick strand of dark green kelp that wraps around its torso, its fur appearing wet and matted with salt. Soft shadows fall across the animal's face, against the bright, diffused light hitting the water's surface. The background dissolves into a pale blue-gray blur, showing the shallow depth of field. Small bubbles rest on the kelp strands, while the reef below shows jagged, shadowed rock formations hidden beneath the milky water. The water's surface ripples gently around the otter's paws.
