Concrete arches stretch across the frame, their weathered surfaces catching sharp highlights against a backdrop of overcast gray sky. A brief sun shower creates glistening droplets on the asphalt and steel railings below, while bare, skeletal trees line the roadside embankments. The geometry of the ancient stone curves contrasts with the angular steel beams of the highway. Water beads on the cold concrete, showing the texture of the aged masonry.
