Winter Aqueduct Under Andorra Bridge Span
Thick concrete arches of an ancient aqueduct rise beneath the sweeping steel cables of a modern cable-stayed bridge in the Andorran mountains. Low winter sun casts long, sharp shadows across the weathered stone surface, highlighting deep cracks and moss patches clinging to the damp masonry. A fine mist hovers just above the ground, catching the dry mountain light and softening the edges where the massive structure meets the earth. Frost dusts the lower corners of the concrete supports, against the dark, shadowed recesses of the arches. The steel cables stretch taut overhead, their thin lines cutting through the pale sky and framing the heavy, silent monument below. The perspective looks up from the ground, showing the towering scale of the stone against the delicate metal web above. One droplet of condensation slides down a rough stone edge near the base.
