Predawn Lighthouse Beam Reveals Tall Fata Morgana Ship Mirage

Predawn darkness wraps the Goa coastline in thick, cool mist. A sweeping beam of white light from a lighthouse cuts through the gloom, illuminating a distorted horizon. The sea surface rises unnaturally, stacking layers of water and air to stretch a distant ship into a towering, vertical phantom. The vessel appears elongated and fragile, floating above the actual dark waves. The mist swallows the lower hull, leaving only the upper masts and deck visible in the stark beam. The light creates sharp edges against the soft fog, defining the impossible height of the mirage. A faint, ghostly reflection of the ship's distorted form rests on the undulating, mist-covered water surface below the beam.
