Goa Floodplain Bamboo Grove Sunset Light

Vertical green stalks rise from the wet, dark mud of a Goa floodplain, their surfaces glistening with recent rain. The dry season leaves the leaves a muted olive, against the deep shadows between the culms. Low horizon light wraps around the tops of the grove, creating a soft golden rim against the distant haze that rests on the flat land. The waterlogged ground reflects the pale sky, while the tall bamboo frames the view with strict, repeating lines. One reflection of a green stalk ripples in a shallow puddle at the bottom edge.
