Night Tugboats Guide Tanker Through Bali Causeway

Brilliant beams of white light slice through thick coastal fog, illuminating the dark waters of a wind-swept causeway in Bali. Three sturdy tugboats flank a massive tanker, their hulls painted in industrial reds and grays, creating a rhythmic line of vessels. The lighthouse beam sweeps across the scene, catching the spray of the sea and the wet, reflective surfaces of the metal decks. Steam rises slightly from the ship's exhaust, blending with the low-hanging mist that obscures the distant horizon. The causeway walls rise steeply on either side, their concrete textures rough and damp under the intermittent glare. One reflection of the searchlight shimmers on the oily water between the tug and the tanker, at the base of the massive machinery in the quiet, solemn darkness of the night.
