Fog Lifting Over Giza Floodplain at Dawn

Pale morning light strikes the horizon haze, illuminating a high meadow where thick fog begins to lift across a rain-swept floodplain. Dramatic clouds stack in layers above the flat terrain, their undersides glowing with soft amber while the tops remain slate gray. The ground retains a deep, wet sheen from recent rain, reflecting the low sun in scattered patches of bright white. Dry grasses stand stiff and dark against the mist, their textures sharp in the cool air. In the distance, the faint outline of stone structures rises from the haze, at the base of the landscape in its specific location. One beam of sunlight pierces through a gap in the clouds, illuminating a dust mote suspended over the damp earth.
