Peregrine Falcon Stooping in Monsoon Evening Light
Honeyed evening light wraps the horizon, casting a warm glow over the wet landscape near Srivijayapuram. A peregrine falcon dives in a steep stoop, its dark plumage glistening with fine monsoon drizzle. Raindrops rest on the sharp feathers and blur slightly in the air around the bird. The falcon's yellow cere and hooked beak stand out against the muted greens of the wet earth below. Its wings are tucked tight, creating a streamlined silhouette that cuts through the humid air.
