Midnight Ruin of Decaying Alpine Hotel

Deep shadow swallows the interior of a roofless nave, leaving only the upper edges of crumbling stone walls illuminated by a faint rim light. The night sky presses down through the open ceiling, a vast expanse of darkness above the structure. Damp air hangs visibly heavy among the grey stones, clinging to the rough texture of the masonry. Wooden shutters hang askew from the window frames, their surfaces weathered and dark, caught in a moment of violent motion as they bang against the stone. The floor is littered with debris and patches of uneven ground. A sliver of pale moonlight reflects off a wet patch on the threshold, marking the boundary between the dark interior and the open sky.
