Midday sun bleaches the dry grass near a muddy waterhole, casting sharp shadows beneath the frame of a leaning oak branch. A massive kudu bull stands knee-deep in the water, its spiraled horns catching the harsh light. Wind whips through the tall reeds, blurring the edges of the water surface. The animal's coat blends with the dusty earth, while droplets cling to its dark fur. The oak branch creates a natural frame, focusing attention on the bull's alert posture. Reflections of the blue sky ripple across the water, disturbed by the animal's movements. One drop falls from the horn tip into the pool.
