Ivy Covered Manor Ruin in Inner Mongolia Twilight in along a vine-choked corridor in Inner Mongolia

Ivy Covered Manor Ruin in Inner Mongolia Twilight

by Beth Pratt

Cool indigo light washes over a crumbling stone manor, its weathered walls softened by thick ivy vines that snake through empty window frames. The structure stands within a narrow corridor choked with dense greenery, where damp air seems to pool between the rough masonry blocks. Midsummer foliage presses against the decay, creating a textured tapestry of dark greens against the pale, eroding stone. Leading lines formed by the corridor walls draw toward the distant, shadowed archway. The dampness rests on the surfaces, making the stones appear dark and heavy under the fading sky. One patch of moss glows faintly on the lower step.
