Irrigation Canals Feeding Terraced Rice Paddies in Goa

Sunlight floods the terraced rice paddies of Goa during the monsoon, casting sharp reflections on the water-filled channels. A network of earthen irrigation canals snakes between the green slopes, directing flow toward the dense crop rows. A light fog hovers low over the water, softening the distant edges of the terraces while the midday heat remains palpable in the stillness of the air.
