Honeyed Evening Mist Over Limestone Towers
Golden evening light spills across a wide valley floor near Vancouver, illuminating the rugged faces of towering limestone karsts rising from the mist. Thick ground fog pools in the low places, softening the transition between earth and sky while the peaks remain sharp against the fading glow. Late summer grasses stretch across the foreground in muted greens and golds, their textures blurred by the encroaching twilight. The stone surfaces display rough, weathered striations that catch the last rays of the sun, creating deep shadows in crevices and highlighting the sheer verticality of the formations. A pale band of sky fades above the mist line, marking the boundary between the illuminated towers and the coming night. The white fog hugs the valley floor, against the warm amber tones on the rock faces.
