Low marine fog rolls in thick layers from the Yucatan coast, softening the background while the foreground remains hazy with rising heat. The sky transitions from deep orange to violet, but the fleeting green beam cuts through the mist with intense clarity. Distant palm fronds sway slightly against the glowing backdrop, their edges blurred by the humid air. The water surface reflects the fading firelight, creating a shimmering path that leads directly to the spectral green moment. One wave crest breaks in the immediate foreground, catching the last light before vanishing into the darkening surf.
