Reflected sunlight fractures across a submerged green door set into a textured coral wall. The paint peels slightly where the reef has begun to encroach, blending artificial blue-green with the natural pinks and oranges of the surrounding rock. Fine plankton particles drift through the water column, creating a soft haze that mutes the background details. The low angle emphasizes the verticality of the door frame against the irregular crevice. Light filters down from the surface, casting shifting patterns of brightness and shadow across the flaking paint and porous coral. A small cluster of barnacles adheres to the lower corner of the door frame.
