Giant Spoon Barn Owl Late Summer Dawn

Soft overcast light floods a late summer field near Memphis, illuminating a barn owl in mid-flight with wings spread wide. Below the bird, a silver spoon rises from the grass like a colossal architectural structure, its bowl towering twenty feet high and dominating the foreground. The metallic surface reflects the pale sky while leaves skitter across the ground in gusts of wind. Tall grasses bend under the pressure of the breeze, framing the impossible scale of the utensil against the natural landscape. The owl's white chest contrasts sharply with the dull gray of the spoon's handle. One dewdrop rests on the tip of a nearby blade of grass, catching the faint morning glow.
