Crane Reflection in Twilight Puddle

Steel-blue ambient light washes the wet asphalt beside exposed structural steel, turning a shallow puddle into a dark mirror. Above, a construction crane rises against the early winter sky, its lattice boom and counterweights reflected upside down in the water. Light drizzle leaves tiny ripples that distort the crane's silhouette, breaking the reflection into fragmented geometric shapes. The puddle sits at the base of the steel framework, framed by converging lines of the overpass that draw toward a distant vanishing point. White paint chips on the metal contrast with the gray rain and the deep blue of the twilight. one drop of water slides down a vertical beam, merging with the reflection below.
